Step by Step Process of Creating a Facebook Page for Business
In order to create a Facebook page for business Open facebook.com and log in.
If you do not already have a Facebook account then Sign up as it’s easy.
Step 2: Create a Facebook Page for a Business
Now click the ‘Create’ Tab (Highlighted in Green Circle in the Image) and after that click Pages
Step 3: Business Category
The New page will show you two categories named ‘Business or Brand’ and ‘Community or Public Figure’
As you are a prospective business brand you should go with ‘Business or Brand’ category and click ‘Get Started’
Step 4: Name and Sub-Category
Now you will be asked to put the Name of Your Business/brand and the category under which it can be referred. Fill the details correctly and after that click ‘Continue’
After this, you will see two additional but optional steps.
Step 5: Profile Picture
You will be asked to put a profile picture. You can preferably put a business logo, mascot or an image. This step is completely optional so you can do it later by clicking the ‘Skip’ button.
Step 6: Cover Image
In this step, you will be asked to set a cover picture. For your page on Facebook for business, you should set a cover image with good resolution as according to Facebook common practices your cover photo displays at 820 pixels wide by 312 pixels tall on computers and 640 pixels wide by 360 pixels tall on smartphones
This step is also optional like step 5 and you can ‘Skip’ it too by clicking the button.
Step 7: Boom! You did it!
Congratulations as you have fruitfully created a Facebook page for business! After the final step, your page will look somewhat like this
